Our first night at the Dorsett #prelaunchstay standing in front

The Challenge
Photographing The Star’s 400 million dollar hotel on the Gold Coast was no easy challenge, especially when only one of the floors was about 80% complete and ready to be photographed — the rest was a frantic construction zone. But we took up the challenge and I put my best foot forward. With hardly any furniture and the interior design of the rooms not yet complete, we really had to dig deep for some inspiration on how to composit the images without the craze in the background. Christian Wachter, the sales director of the hotel was extremely helpful in giving me the space I needed to create.
The Results
I couldn’t have been more happy with the results. Truly humbled to have contributed even in a small part to such a grand project.
